In his role as the Hospital Council’s president and CEO, Jeff oversees general operations and management of staff for the COHC offices. He is responsible for developing the annual work plan and identifying association initiatives. Jeff reports directly to the COHC Board of Trustees and collaborates with them on a regular basis to define association objectives. He is also the liaison between COHC and legislators, community and business leaders and other local constituency groups. Additionally, Jeff serves as chief advocate for issues impacting Central Ohio’s four health care systems.

Prior to joining COHC, Jeff was the director of state policy and advocacy for the Ohio Hospital Association, where he represented the state’s 170 community hospitals with members of the Ohio General Assembly and the Strickland Administration on legislation and government-related issues impacting the OHA membership. Before coming to OHA in 1992, Jeff served as an intern with then-Governor George Voinovich, working on communications for a state task force which was established to bring efficiency to state government departments and divisions. He graduated in 1991 with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from The Ohio State University.

Jeff lives in Hilliard with his wife, Kathleen and their two children.
