David P. Blom is president and chief executive officer of OhioHealth.
After his graduation from The Ohio State University in 1980, Mr. Blom began his healthcare career at a small hospital in Massachusetts. He received his master's degree in health care administration from The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Blom joined the OhioHealth family of hospitals and health services in 1983. He served as a president and chief operating officer at Grant Medical Center and then as president of OhioHealth's central hospitals, while also serving as executive vice president and chief operating officer.
He was named president and chief executive officer of OhioHealth in March 2002.
Mr. Blom was elected to the board of the Ohio Hospital Association in January 2002. He is active in several civic and community organizations and lives in Westerville with his wife and three daughters.
